For my purposes I need access to a GPU and be able to modify the driver, which is where Virgilrenderer and Qemu comes in handy. It is unlikely to work with aosp 7.x.x, and will definitely not work with >8.x.x.ĭeveloping Linux for Android on Qemu allows you to do some things that are not necessarily possible using the stock emulator.
